" Please take care of your merchandise after you buy it. Once the auctioneer says sold, it becomes the buyer's responsibility to protect his merchandise against loss or theft. " The auctioneer has the sole authority to make any decisions regarding bid increments, identifying the high bidder, sale order, and acceptance of any bid. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bidding of any individual whose conduct or actions would not be in the best interest of the seller. " All purchases must be paid for before leaving the auction site.

Payment Terms
Payment is due at pickup time. Local buyers can use credit cards, cash, or personal check. Nothing will be removed from the auction site until it is paid for. FOR GOLD COINS, CREDIT CARDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you want us to ship your items, the cost of packing and shipping will be added to your total and a new invoice will be sent to you showing the total due. If you wish to make arrangements other than credit card for shipped orders, we ask that you contact Black and Gold Auctions at least 24 hours before the auction. We will be happy to work with you in that way.
Local Pickup: Pickup is by appointment only Thursday and Friday from 9am to 6pm following the auction end. Appointments can be scheduled at blackandgoldauctions.com at the conclusion of the auction or by following the link in your invoice email. WE ARE CLOSED FOR PICK-UP ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 2ND. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Packing and shipping will be handled in-house on smaller items (we have many years of online shipping experience through eBay and online auctions). If you are not local and want to pick up your items, please let us know as soon as the auction ends so that we don't pack them. Our carrier of choice is FedEx Ground, with United States Postal Service as a secondary source. Please contact the auction company if you have any questions about shipping large items. Shipping costs for small items are actual cost plus a small packaging and handling charge to help cover material costs. If you have any questions about our shipping policies, please feel free to call. IMPORTANT CHANGES EFFECTIVE May 1, 2021: Black and Gold Auctions offers liberal pickup times for your purchases (three days for the Wednesday Auction). For those who do not pickup in a timely manner, the following will apply: 1. All unpaid invoices will be charged to the credit card registered with HiBid at 12:00 noon on Saturday .following the auction end. If the card is declined a $25 fee will be added to the invoice. 2. If you do not show for pickup and do not contact us, there will be an automatic $25 charge added to your invoice. If you have large items, furniture, or multiple lots, that fee could be higher. 3. If you have a second instance of not picking up, that fee will be an additional $25 and your account will be put on hold until you have everything picked up. 4. If your invoice remains unpaid after 10 days, your items will be disposed of and your bidding privileges will be suspended indefinitely. 5. If your paid invoice items are not picked up within 10 days of auction end, they will be forfeited and resold with no refund given. We have the greatest customers in the world! For the majority of you who always pay and pick up promptly, thank you! And we will continue to deal with extenuating circumstances as long as we have communication.
